Distribution Service Europe (DSE) is an independent concern since 1997. The origins of DSE are in the family company Smit Expeditions, active since 1924 in domestic shipment of packed goods and established in Wierden.

Because of the economic growth and the omittance of the borders within the E.E.C., to be allowed to operate on foreign markets and demand of clients to report all demand for transport in a central location AND our idea that this activity should be connected to tailor made work and creating customer relations by giving service, which on balance is a win win situation, this lead DSE to be come established in 1977.

In 1997 a division was made to separate Expeditie Smit for regional packages and packed goods. All other forms of transport will be handled by DSE. This varies from international packages until courier service, but also container and conditioned transportation. Excluding alive goods, DSE has a good solution for all transportation questions.
